Allow me to explain...
Kenneth Copeland and Benny Hinn are both examples of men who have made themselves filthy rich off the donations of others that are supposedly going to go towards "ministry." Yet, these donations go far beyond the needs of any "ministry" that these men do and end up padding their bank accounts with countless millions of dollars.
They try to use biblical principles about giving and turn the provision and donations that the Bible speaks about into a deceptive and manipulative tactic for the purpose of making themselves rich. It is disgusting. It is unchristian.
Be generous, but don't ever donate to those who use the Bible to manipulate you into making themselves rich, instead of just meeting real needs of real people.
