Prof. Michel René Barnes, Ph.D - Marquette University | “Born to Lose – Can good be good if it does not somehow dissolve evil?”
Whatever one thinks the cause of evil to be, whatever one identify as evil, and however one may think evil has its effects, what remains in all cases is that evil is experienced personally, and it is experienced as a personal injury.
In evil’s worst cases it is experienced as a trauma. The great question about the experience of evil is whether the trauma can be healed.
For a Christian the experience of evil provokes the questions of whether fire burns hotter than love, and can good be good if it does not somehow dissolve evil?
