In closing our Black History Month observance, Bishop T.D. Jakes surveys our nation’s iconic voices, Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, Bishop Vashti Murphy McKenzie, Senator Tim Scott, and Bakari Sellers, to pose a somber question: Where do Black people go from here? In this window of "legitimization," how do we move forward? When will we stop asking permission to be human? The brilliant panel touches on canceling "cancel culture," willful blindness, social justice, opportunities to maximize Black mobility, and why we must sow our seeds wherever God has planted us. They also address Black pain and ways we can achieve a healthy, mental space. And when we don’t know what else to do, we keep our eyes fixed on the Lord and remember that He, too, was a suffering Savior. He is ever close to us throughout it all.
