The Lead Like King Virtual Awards and Scholarship Drive is a special virtual collaboration between the Jakes Divinity School and the Urban Renewal Center of Norfolk to commemorate MLK Day in a new and dynamic way! Consisting of an awards ceremony for young up-and-coming leaders, live entertainment from celebrated Gospel icons like Shirley Caesar, and encouraging words from legends of the Civil Rights era when they demonstrated their faith in a far-flung future. This event will mold you, encourage you, and move you to follow in Dr. King’s “footsteps to form leaders for innovative ministry in the church and society”!
