St Paul’s Institute’s 2018 series ‘Democracy and the Common Good’ seeks to foster a national conversation to emphasize the value of the common good to arrive at a policy framework to help address the existing anxieties facing our society.
As part of this series we were joined by Richard Sennett, professor of Sociology at the London School of Economics and author of Building and Dwelling: Ethics for the City, and Marvin Rees, Mayor of Bristol, to consider how citizens can live together in urban spaces and engage with our cities to make them work for all people.
