Dear skeptic,
Here's how you can know that you're guilty of this tactic. You ask hard questions and don't want to know good answers. When someone gives you a good answer to a tough question you quickly move on to another gotcha question, rather than changing your thinking about the previous one. When I realize I'm in a conversation that just leapfrogs from one gotcha question to another I tend to think it's going to be a fruitless discussion. Truth isn't the goal. Debasing Christianity is the goal.
