Ken Elzinga presented,
“C.S. Lewis and Freedom: Christianity’s Famous Apologist Meets Adam Smith,” on Monday, September 27, 7:00pm, at Coray Alumni Gymnasium
Ken Elzinga is a faithful servant of Jesus Christ. Professor Elzinga has also served as a special economic advisor to the head of the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice and as a consultant to the Federal Trade Commission. He has also provided expert testimony for several U.S. Supreme Court cases. At the University of Virginia, Professor Elzinga has taught economics to more than 45,000 with an excellence that has won him the University of Virginia’s highest honor, the Thomas Jefferson Award. The Southern Economic Association’s annual teaching award is named after Professor Elzinga in recognition of his reputation as a communicator of economics. He is also a former fellow in law and economics at the University of Chicago and was a Thomas Jefferson visiting scholar at Cambridge University.
