In this message before CHC's 30th anniversary, Aries Zulkarnain examines the value of brokenness. The Japanese art of kintsugi involves mending a broken vessel with lacquer, and covering the cracks with 24K gold powder. The finished product is more beautiful than the original "perfect" one. So it is with the Christian: God doesn't lose interest in you when you're broken; to Him, our brokenness is beautiful and to be displayed with pride. It is when we are broken that God's divine mercy shines through our cracks. So it is with the church—when people see our "jar of clay" (2 Cor 4:7) they will glorify God. Listen to this inspiring sermon that encourages you to stay in the process and see God honor His promise.
