http://www.reasonablefaith.org - So many persistent rumors abound about Dr. William Lane Craig's view on creation, evolution, and intelligent design (some were foolish enough to call him a creationist!). Over and over again, he's said that he's agnostic about intelligent design and evolution. The most that we can say is that Dr. Craig does NOT believe the universe is 6-10,000 years old, he doesn't take the Genesis account literally, he believes the universe to be billions of years old, he thinks that evolution IS compatible with Christianity (although he questions whether natural selection can do as much as the Neo-Darwinian Evolutionists says it can), and he believes that ID is at least viable.

In other words, it's a type of theistic evolutionary view despite its name "progressive creationism." (Creationism doesn't always mean "young-earth creationism").
