Why We Should All Take a Break from Technology
A great thing that we can do for ourselves is to take breaks from the screen. This requires intentionality. A practical way we can do this is be creating a screen free space, a room or a place where screens are not allowed to be. For you maybe it is the living room. For your kids, maybe there bedroom is a screen free place.
Having a break from a screen helps us pull away from our addiction to technology. And while breaks are helpful, what is even better is by fasting technology. We need to regularly set aside a day at the minimum to fast all screens. And while it will be hard at first, it will later help us create freedom for ourselves from technology.
